Cosmo Gold, LA-based 4-piece rock outfit was formed out of singer/songwriter Emily Gold's solo project under the name Velvet, and has now become a fully collaborative band after the name change in early 2019. Gold is no stranger to the music world, having multiple solo albums as well as being daughter of 70's power pop icon Andrew Gold ("Lonely Boy," "Thank you for Being a Friend," Linda Ronstadt guitarist/collaborator). The other three members hail from California indie/psych outfits such as Sugar Candy Mountain (Peter Maffei), Tridtides (Stephen Burns) and Valley Queen (Mike Deluccia). Their debut EP was produced by Neil Wogensen of the band Yellow Queen and includes contributions from Dash Hutton (Haim, Mini Mansions).
